Mamata Banerjee Will Hold An Emergency Meeting With MPs

Mamata Banerjee will hold an emergency meeting with MPs and MLAs. Keeping in mind the frequent breakdowns in the assembly elections and Trinamool, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself is contesting the damage control.

Mamta has called an emergency meeting of all party MPs and MLAs at her residence on Friday, 29 January.

However, it is unclear why the meeting has been called. But, it is being said that the way all MPs and MLAs have been asked to be present, after this the discussion is intensified that an attempt can be made to stop the breakdown in the party.

Because, on January 30, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting Bengal and he gave a big shock to Mamata by including several Trinamool leaders, MLAs, including Suvendu Adhikari, in the earlier tour last month.

In such a situation, this meeting called by Mamta just before her visit is very important.

BJP sources claim that many more leaders, MLAs and MPs may join the BJP during the Union Home Minister’s visit on 30 January. At least a dozen leaders of the ruling camp can join the BJP.

Some of them are MLAs and MPs. Naturally, the politics of the state is revolving around Shah’s visit.

Many people think that this meeting has been called by Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee to foment party MPs and MLAs before Shah’s visit.

Two days ago, while addressing the election meeting in Hooghly district, Mamata had clearly said that those who thought of leaving the party should leave immediately.

Now what she tells the MLA-MPs during the meeting at Kalighat residence on 29 January will be very important. Four days ago, the Trinamools expelled Bali’s party MLA Vaishali Dalmia

Uttarpara MLA Prabir Ghoshal has resigned from the party’s posts on Tuesday. Nadia’s district vice president Parthasarathy Chatterjee has been removed from the post for his alleged links with the BJP.

It is believed that Mamta can also warn dissidents in this meeting. It remains to be seen whether this meeting of Mamta includes leaders like Rajiv Banerjee, who has resigned as minister and MLA Prabir Ghoshal.
