Gehlot engaged in persuading the dissidents of Congress, trying to alleviate the crisis by playing the role of mediator.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is working to unite leaders for the Gandhi family amid the growing activism of the disgruntled G-23 group of disgruntled leaders in the Congress.

Gehlot has sat in Jaipur and contacted senior leaders over the telephone in the last week. They are still constantly in touch with the leaders of different states.

Meena Lagatar is going to Delhi and talking to the leaders of the second line. Under the direction of Gehlot, Meena is contacting state-wise leaders.

On the other hand, according to information received from the sources, the party leadership has given free hand to Gehlot for the by-elections in the four assembly seats of the state.

In all four seats, from the selection of the candidate to the election campaign, the responsibility will remain as per Gehlot.

MLAs are constantly engaging with the pilot.

In Rajasthan’s politics, for the past two and a half years, Sachin Pilot has been continuously showing his strength by standing in front of Gehlot politically.

Legislators are joining the pilot camp continuously. In the past, two MLAs of the Gehlot camp were associated with the pilot. Both these MLAs joined the pilot mahapanchayat of the pilot.

So far, Gehlot, who has kept the pilot away from organizational matters, took himself by helicopter in the by-election areas.
