Conspiracy to incite violence by terrorists and separatists, curfew imposed in Srinagar. The curfew will continue till the night of August 5. Many organizations in Kashmir have also announced to celebrate Black Day on August 5. Significantly, the Central Government implemented the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act on 5 August 2019.

With this, Articles 370 and 35A were abolished and the state of Jammu and Kashmir was reorganized into two union territories, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Curfew order ordered by August 5

The Center’s decision ended the agenda of Pak, separatists, and jihadists as well as mainstream politicians under the guise of separatism. Desperate elements are hatching conspiracy and looking for every possible opportunity to spoil the situation.

Intelligence agencies had also issued an alert in the past and warned that terrorists and separatist organizations could carry out a major terrorist attack in Kashmir on August 5.

District Magistrate Srinagar, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary has issued an order to impose curfew in Srinagar and adjoining areas till 5 August evening with immediate effect.

Terrorists and separatists going to celebrate black day in Kashmir on August 5

Information received from SSP Srinagar has told that terrorists and separatist elements are going to celebrate Black Day in Kashmir on August 5. He can create a law and order crisis by inciting violence while carrying out a major terrorist incident.

According to the District Magistrate, the movement of people is already banned in Srinagar in view of Kovid-19 and their gathering at one place. In addition, the police report calls for implementing measures to avoid violence and general casualties.

Therefore, it becomes necessary to introduce curfew in the district. In health-related emergency situations, the movement of staff related to the duty of Kovid-19 will continue on the basis of the pass and valid card.

Preparations begin 24 hours in advance

On the next two days curfew in Srinagar, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that preparations have started in Srinagar 24 hours earlier this year than in 2019. I am hoping that strict curfew will be implemented in other districts of the Valley for the next two days from tonight itself.
