Manmohan Singh, the owner of a grocery shop, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Peshawar’s Yakatut area on Saturday.
Earlier on Friday, Tarlok Singh of the Sikh community was shot, in which he was badly injured.
At the same time, last month some assailants shot dead a passer-by in Lahore. The passerby was identified as Sardar Singh.
So far in this year, three incidents of shooting people of Sikh community have come to the fore.

According to a report, 38 women of Christian and Hindu religion were abducted from January to June 2023 in Pakistan. All of them were forcibly converted. Also seven women were murdered.
According to data from the Center for Social Justice, between 1987 and 2022, 2,120 persons from minority communities were implicated on false charges.
Because of this they had to face long lawsuits, maladministration and worse.
Whereas, in the last 36 years, 88 people were extra-judicially killed in the name of blasphemy law. Due to this the image of Pakistan has also been tarnished.
United Nations has also raised the question.
Here, the United Nations Human Rights Commission says that there are more than a thousand attacks on non-Muslim minorities in Pakistan every year.
Among these, the most affected areas are Sindh, Peshawar, Karachi and Balochistan.
Pakistan’s police have claimed that they have arrested some suspects in the Peshawar assassination of Manmohan Singh.
