Vijay Mashal Entered Himachal Pradesh From Ladakh
Vijay Mashal entered Himachal Pradesh from Ladakh, grand welcome at Atal Tunnel Rohtang.
The Vijay Mashal of the Army, which entered Himachal Pradesh from the Union Territory of Ladakh, has reached the area of Western Command of the Army from the area of Northern Command.
On reaching Rohtang from the Atal Tunnel, Vijay Mashal was received by Lt Gen PN Ananthanarayan, GOC, Rising Star Corps of the Army.
Many senior army officers and retired officers, including Himachal Pradesh’s most senior retired officer Lt Gen Bhupinder Singh, were also present in the program organized to welcome the victory torch at the northern end of Atal Tunnel Rohtang.
During this, the Corps Commander also launched a 16-day cycle expedition from Atal Tunnel to Pathankot.
Earlier, the GOC of Rising Star Corps and many senior officers and retired officers of the Army paid homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country in the historic war fought 50 years ago.
After this, Vijay Mashal was taken to the transit camp of Palchan in the rally.
Traditional folk dances of Kullu, Lahaul, Spiti areas were also presented along with displaying the documentary of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 in the program in honor of Vijay Mashal at the transit camp.
Vijay Mashal stayed in the Kargil and Leh districts of Ladakh for more than a month. Now Vijay Mashal will salute the martyrs of the region in the programs to be held in Himachal Pradesh.
There is no dearth of soldiers who sacrificed for the country of Himachal Pradesh. Param Vir Chakra winner Captain Vikram Batra is also included in these martyrs.
In such a situation, in the coming days, big programs will be organized in Palampur, Dharamsala, Yol, Dalhousie, Bakloh areas of Himachal Pradesh in honor of the victory torch.
During this, the families of the martyrs, ex-servicemen will be honored and their spirits will be enhanced.
