North Korea fired another solid-fueled ballistic missile, warned the US.

The Hwasong-18, a new type of alleged solid-fuel ballistic missile, was reportedly fired by North Korea only once earlier in April, state news agency KCNA reported. The missile flew at an altitude of 1,001 km.

Experts said the flight time of about 70 minutes is similar to some of North Korea’s past ICBM launches.

According to the report, KCNA said the launch was directed by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

KCNA said Kim also vowed that a series of strong military offensives would be launched unless the United States and South Korea changed their policies towards the North.

Confirming the launch, the South Korean military reported on Wednesday.

In response, Seoul and Washington have increased security cooperation, pledging that Pyongyang would face a nuclear response and end its current government if it ever used its nuclear weapons against allies.

America told the violation of UN sanctions.
