Union Home Minister gave clear instructions, said- adopt zero-tolerance against terrorism: Jammu and Kashmir.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a high-level meeting in the presence of Jammu and Kashmir.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval reviewed the issues related to the security of Shri Amarnath Yatra to anti-infiltration mechanism along the border.

During this, the strategy of zero tolerance was finalized to stop the recruitment of new boys in terrorist organizations.

Highly placed sources in Delhi said that in the evening, Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level meeting on the security scenario of Jammu and Kashmir.

Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Director of Intelligence Bureau Arvind Kumar, RAW chief Samant Kumar Goel, Director General of CRPF Kuldeep Singh, and JK DGP Dilbag Singh participated in it.

In this meeting, which lasted for about two hours, the number of terrorists operating in Jammu and Kashmir, the recent spurt in terrorist activities, and the pattern of terrorist violence were discussed.

Referring to the conspiracies by terrorists and separatists to spoil the atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir, officials of intelligence agencies gave their opinion on the measures to thwart them.

Union Home Minister gave clear instructions:

It was informed in the meeting that the supporters of terrorists and separatists operating inside and outside J&K are conspiring to push the local youth on the path of terrorism by continuously spreading propaganda on the internet media.

Many of them are also raising money through various means to worsen the situation in Kashmir. He also gave detailed information on the issues related to the infiltration of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.

The strategy being adopted against the use of drones for smuggling narcotics and weapons from across the border was also discussed in the meeting.

During this, it was also decided to make anti-drone technology accessible to the security personnel deployed in the border areas.

Apart from this, instructions were also given to increase surveillance and identification of anti-national and jihadi elements active on internet media and ensure legal action against them.

Make arrangements for the security of political leaders:

Taking cognizance of the incident of terrorist attacks on people associated with mainstream politics in the plaintiff.

The Home Minister directed the officials present in the meeting to increase the patrolling of security forces in the terror-prone areas.

All protected persons and leaders and workers of political parties should be provided with their security by continuously assessing the terrorist threat.

He also took the feedback of the concerned officials on measures to strengthen the anti-infiltration mechanism, emphasizing on comprehensive coordination among all the security agencies.

During this, the Director-General of Police and CRPF apprised the Home Minister about the security cover of Shri Amarnath’s annual pilgrimage 2021.
