After this, on 26 June 2020, the stock market once again touched the 35,000 mark. After this, the Sensex touched 36,021.42 points on July 3, 2020 and 37,020.14 points on 17 July 2020.
Subsequently, on August 26, 2020, Sensex touched a level of 39,073.92. After this, there was no significant movement in the market for about a quarter of a month. However, after the developments related to the vaccine, the stock markets started returning once more.
Steps taken by the government on various occasions, announcements of relief packages, increase in consumer demand during the festive season saw a strong rally in the stock markets in the last quarter of the calendar year 2020.
