In the meeting of the India-Australia Education and Skills Council (AIESC) held on Monday in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The council was formed in 2011 to strengthen relations.

However, till now its subject was limited to education only. In such a situation, both countries gave it a new form and made it the Education and Skills Council in the year 2022.
