At the same time, the Russian army on Monday opened fire on the city of Toresk in the Donetsk region, in which 5 were killed.

On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sacked his security chief Ivan Kakanov and Prosecutor General Iryana Venediktova on charges of treason.

The highest number of 353 children died in the Donetsk region. 191 children died in Kharkiv, 116 in Kyiv, and 52 in Kherson.

Ukraine has also given a befitting reply to Russia’s action. In the last 24 hours, the Ukrainian army has killed more than 160 Russian soldiers.

In this war that started on 24 February, Ukraine killed about 38,300 Russian soldiers till 17 July.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 1,684 enemy tanks, 3,879 armored fighting vehicles, 846 artillery systems, 248 anti-aircraft guns, and 110 air defense systems.

Also destroyed 220 warplanes, 188 helicopters, 688 UAVs, 166 cruise missiles, 15 warships/cutters, 2,746 truck-tankers.
