Roohi Release Confirmed: Jahnavi Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s film ‘Roohi’ will be released on this date.

The release of films in theaters is slowly gaining momentum. Now the release of Jahnavi Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s horror-comedy film Roohi is confirmed. The film is being released next month on the 11th.

Jahnavi Kapoor shared the release information on Instagram and wrote- Welcome to this ghostly wedding. Magic is returning to theaters.

The film is releasing on 11 March. Ruhi is produced by Geo Studios and Dinesh Vision’s company Maddock Films and Mrigdeep Singh Lamba.

Dinesh Vision has previously made successful and acclaimed horror-comedy films like women. The film is directed by Hardik Mehta. The trailer of the film will be released on Tuesday.

The teaser suggests that its story revolves around a spirit wedding. Ruhi is releasing in mid-week on 11 March on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. The film will get a long opening weekend in 4 days.

Ruhi’s name was earlier Ruhi Afza. Ruhi was announced in 2019. The film was scheduled to be released in June last year, but the film’s release was postponed due to the closure of the cinemas at Pandemic.

Roohi is carrying on the tradition of horror-comedy films in Bollywood. Released in 2018, Stree performed well at the box office.

The film featured Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles. The woman was directed by Amar Kaushik.

Apart from Rajkummar Rao and Jahnavi Kapoor, Ruhi will feature Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Alex Onel, Seema Pahwa, Aamna Sharif, and Ronit Roy.

Jahnavi Kapoor is returning to the big screen after her debut with Dhadak in 2018.

Jahnavi’s previous film Gunjan Saxena – The Kargil Girl was released on Netflix last year. Apart from this, Jahnavi was also seen in Netflix’s anthology film Ghost Stories.
