Most of the MLAs did not talk about the talks with Rahul, but Pargat Singh said that Rahul Gandhi has been told that till the pending issues are resolved, the matter will not go ahead.

Congress leaders also suggested not to hand over the reins of the party to Sidhu.

At the same time, party sources in Delhi say that Rahul Gandhi also appeared aggressive in this meeting and asked many direct questions to the leaders.

Rahul even asked how many MLAs can rebel in this situation if the party does not make Captain its face in the next elections.

The Captain has not returned to Chandigarh after the meetings. Sources also say that the Captain wants to meet Sonia Gandhi and has also sought time from her.

Mallikarjun Kharge, on the other hand, assured the party of resolving the dispute soon.

He said that all party leaders are ready to contest the next assembly elections under the leadership of Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
