Police Investigating The Criminal History Of Yakub Qureshi
Police investigating the criminal history of Yakub Qureshi in Meerut, property acquired illegally will be confiscated.
The police are investigating the criminal history of former minister Haji Yakub Qureshi, his wife Shamjida Begum, son Imran Qureshi and Firoz alias Bhura.
Action will be taken against all the accused named under the Gangster Act so that the illegal earnings from the meat factory can be confiscated.
10 accused caught in the factory have been sent to jail. A police phantom has been put in place to monitor Yakub. After the registration of the case, the nominated accused have gone to Delhi.

The game in the trial is the effort to save the family.
A case has been registered on behalf of the police under sections 420, 269, 270, 272, 273, and 120B of IPC. Yakub Qureshi and his family have been accused of fraudulently preparing adulterated food.
These sections carry a sentence of not less than seven years. Senior advocate Anil Bakshi says that the police have made the entire trial a joke. The Food Safety Act came in 2006.
The Act was amended in 2011. After this, sections 269, 270, 272, and 273 have automatically ended.
In the case of meat found in Yakub Qureshi’s factory, action should have been taken under the Food Safety Act, which has a provision for life imprisonment.
The value of meat recovered from Yakub’s factory is said to be around Rs 5 crore.
These people associated with the meat business are in contact with the committee that destroyed the meat.
Businessmen are setting up that they should get some part of the meat of five crores. However, the meat will be destroyed on receipt of the order of the court.
SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary says that the team that destroyed the meat will also be monitored.
A case has been filed against Yakub Qureshi and his family members under non-bailable sections. A team has been made for his arrest.
Their criminal history is being probed to register a gangster case so that their illegally earned property can be confiscated.
