In Punjab, the opposition to the factions, the scheme of agricultural diversity did not end, the effect also on contract farming.

In Punjab, the Agricultural Diversity Scheme has not been able to scale up due to the antagonism. This is harming the cultivation of the state.

Like the Contract Forming Act-2013, the state government has also forgotten to make rules and regulations of the Punjab Price Stabilization Fund Act.

Due to this, the plan to reduce the area under paddy and wheat in the state and to plant other crops is not going to end.

Captain Govt brought this bill in September 2018. It was said that some part of the taxes on grain sold in mandis will be kept for this fund.

So that farmers are getting less than the market price of paddy and wheat and other crops sold at minimum support price, then the government Completes that gap with the fund.

Like Contract Contracting, Government forgot to make rules for the Price Stabilization Fund Act.

The fund was part of the central government’s Bhavantar Yojana, from which the Act was required to be brought to collect the amount, but the commissioners opposed cutting the money from the commissions received from them.

Because of this, this act has not been implemented so far. The Price Balancing Fund Government has set up this fund to stabilize the price of all crops.
