Myanmar Military Coup Protest: Myanmar is in turmoil after a military coup, demonstrations in full swing. There has been a nationwide uproar after the military coup in Myanmar a week ago.

The demonstration, which started with a few hundred people, turned into a crowd of thousands. Suu Kyi’s popularity among the protesters is so much that they are raising slogans of ‘Mother Soo Ki Digharyu Ho’.

Different demonstrations started in different areas of Yangon which reached Sule Pagoda located here.

These days people are registering their protest by playing utensils in the streets of the country and demanding the release of their leader.

The last November, Suu Kyi won a major victory in the elections, his ‘National League for Democracy’ party had secured more than 80 percent of the votes.

The army has accused Suu Kyi’s government of not taking action on their complaints. The army says the elections were rigged last year.

Emergency for one year in Myanmar.

After the army took power on February 1, Army General Min Ong Hing imposed a one-year emergency in the country.

During this time a military government of eleven members has been elected to oversee the functioning of the country.

On 1 February in Myanmar, the army detained the leaders of a democratically elected government and seized power of the country.

The army later announced that the coup was necessary for the country and now elections will be held after one year.

This was revealed by the communication between Nepal’s Foreign Ministry and the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu. There have been reports related to this dialogue in Nepal’s media.

It is believed that China has resorted to manipulation of pressure on Nepal and other countries, buoyed by India’s overtaking in vaccine diplomacy.
