Mahindra & Mahindra on Thursday said it has signed a pact with a unit of Adani Total Gas to set up electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country.

In this regard, Adani Total Energy E-Mobility Limited (ATEL) has signed an MOU. Know here all the details.

M&M and Adani Total Energies join hands: EV Charging Infra will expand.

The Mumbai-based automaker said the MOU sets out the roadmap for building a wide EV charging infrastructure across the country.

Additionally, the partnership will also include e-mobility solutions to provide customers seamless access to charging networks covering discovery, accessibility, navigation, and transactions.

Customers of XUV400 electric vehicles will now have access to more than 1,100 chargers thanks to this agreement, it was said.

Vijay Nakra, President – Automotive Division, M&M, said, “This alliance is a cornerstone in scaling up the EV charging infrastructure, ensuring that our customers enjoy seamless access to charging networks and digital integration for a unique EV experience.

Emphasis on Electric Vehicles.

He said that in line with the commitment to enhance customer experience with the partner network, the company is actively engaging multiple partners to broaden the EV infra, thereby increasing the adoption of electric vehicles.

Adani Total Gas Executive Director and CEO Suresh P Mangalani said the collaboration with M&M for charging infrastructure will boost customer confidence to adopt EV technology as part of the energy transition.

When combined, these actions will lower carbon emissions and assist India in meeting its climate action goals, the speaker stated.
