JP Nadda announces an alliance between BJP and AIADMK to continue in Tamil Nadu.

BJP national president JP Nadda said on Saturday that his party’s alliance with the AIADMK would continue in the assembly elections to be held in Tamil Nadu a few months later.

Addressing a public meeting, Nadda said that the two parties will face the assembly elections together.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi paved the way for projects such as the Defense Corridor for Tamil Nadu, while the state was neglected during the Congress-led UPA rule.

Terming Tamil as the world’s oldest language, the BJP president said that when a right person reached the right place, he made the right decisions.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured safe fortune for the country and Tamil Nadu after assuming responsibility for the top post.

Whether it is about projects like Defense Corridor or fund allocation for Tamil Nadu, the situation changed only when BJP came to power at the Center.

Nadda said that the people of Tamil Nadu have entrepreneurship, economic and cultural values.

Modi paves the way for projects like Defense Corridor for Tamil Nadu

Following the statement of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the BJP president’s comments about Tamil Nadu are considered important.

Rahul had recently alleged during his visit to Tamil Nadu that the BJP does not respect the Tamil language and culture.

Describing Madurai as the home of Goddess Meenakshi, Nadda said that the city also had a connection with Mahatma Gandhi. During his visit here, Gandhiji had decided to wear only a dhoti.

Earlier, BJP workers welcomed Nadda on Friday night when he reached Madurai. He also visited the Meenakshi temple during his visit.

VK Sasikala discharged from hospital, admitted due to corona infection

Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalithaa’s close VK Sasikala Natarajan has been discharged from the hospital.

She was undergoing treatment at Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru due to Corona being infected. He was admitted here last week. She was infected by Corona in judicial custody.

The family has decided to take her to Chennai. Close sources gave information about this. Doctors have advised him to stay in self-quarantine for a few days.

The hospital had told in the bulletin issued on Saturday that Sasikala could be discharged from the hospital on Sunday.

Sasikala was released on Wednesday after completing a four-year jail sentence on a disproportionate assets case.

The case pertained to accumulation of disproportionate assets worth Rs 66.65 crore during Jayalalithaa’s tenure as chief minister from 1991-1996.

She was taken from the jail hospital on January 20 to the government-run Boring and Lady Curzon Hospital.

She was referred to Victoria Hospital the following day after feeling unwell and ill, where she was found infected with Corona.
