J&K Security Alert: Army, CRPF, and Police Joint Operation Leads to Arrests
J&K Security Alert: Indian Army and CRPF intensify counter-terror operations in Kashmir. Two terror suspects arrested, weapons recovered in Baramulla. Read full report.
Army gets big success in Jammu and Kashmir, two associates of terrorists arrested from Baramulla, weapons including AK-47 recovered. Army and police personnel are gearing up against terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. In a joint operation of CRPF, Army, and Jammu and Kashmir Police, areas of Bandipora are being searched.
Meanwhile, two suspects have been arrested in a joint operation based on special intelligence input on the Gandbal-Hajin road. In this joint operation, security forces recovered a pistol, a pistol magazine, two grenades, an AK rifle magazine and some ammunition from the possession of associates of terrorists.
J&K Security Alert: Firing on LoC
It is worth noting that on Wednesday, a soldier was injured in an incident of firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials said that the soldier was posted at a forward post in the Kalsian area of Naushera sector. During that time, the soldier was shot.
The injured soldier was given first aid and then rushed to the Military Hospital Udhampur for specialised treatment. Officials said the cause of the firing was being investigated. They said an explosion was also reported on the zero line in the area around 6 am, following which three rounds of firing took place. However, officials said there were no reports of any casualties in the blast.

Infiltration attempt failed on India-Pakistan border, BSF jawans on high alert; search operation continues
On the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, BSF jawans foiled an infiltration attempt on the India-Pakistan border in Samba. According to the information received, last night at around 1 o’clock, the jawans of the Border Security Force saw some suspicious activity at the Khora post of Samba sector, after which the jawans fired a few rounds.
Search operation continues in the area
Since it was night time, all the jawans and the area were kept on high alert. As soon as morning arrived, a search operation is being conducted in the same area. The search operation is going on till the information is received, many senior officers including BSF DIG, SSP Samba Varinder Singh Manhas are present at the spot and are keeping an eye.
