Haridwar: Two And A Half Hundred Booked, In Stone-pelting Case

Haridwar: Two and a half hundred , including state president of BKU booked, in stone pelting case against Army.

Stone pelting on army In Bhangedi village (Roorkee) in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand.

The police sued about two hundred and fifty persons including a village head, state president of Bharatiya Kisan Union, for breaking the army gate, throwing stones, and seizing weapons.

In Roorkee of Haridwar district, for the past two days a large number of villagers of Bhangedi village were sitting near the gate of the army.

There were talks with the administration officials, but no solution was found. The crowd suddenly became angry late Saturday evening.

Villagers in the crowd broke the army gate and entered inside. The mob then pelted stones at the army personnel.

Stones were pelted for about half an hour, in which about 10 army personnel were injured.

After the ruckus, police from Jhabrera, Bhagwanpur, Kaliyar, and many police stations reached the spot. After the incident, the villagers who were protesting ran away from there.

In this case, Harendra Singh Rautela, GFO of Bengal Engineering and Center Roorkee gave a complaint to the Civil Lines Kotwali Police.

Alleging that about two and a half hundred people including the State President of Bharatiya Kisan Union, Padam Singh resident of Belladi, Village Head Ghaffar, Broke the army gate and threw stones.

It was also alleged that there was an attempt to snatch weapons from the army personnel. When unsuccessful, the vehicle was vandalized and attempted to set fire.

Inspector Rajesh Sah, in-charge of Civil Lines Kotwali, said that in this case of stone pelting.

The police had filed a case against Tahrir on the President of the Indian Farmers Union, Padam Singh, resident Beldi, Javed resident village Beladi, Wajid resident Roorkee, Gram Pradhan Abdul Gaffar.

During the ruckus at the gate, army personnel had made a video of this entire case.

The police will now mark the accused on the basis of this video and capture them. Let me tell you that the accused have been absconding since the incident.
