In the first part of the film, Ajay Devgan was seen in the role of family man Vijay Salgaonkar. In Drishyam, he was seen fighting a battle with IGP Meera Deshmukh (Tabu) to save his family.

Part 2 will show the story seven years after the incident happened in the film. Like the previous part, Drishyam 2 will also see Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta alongside Ajay Devgn.

Apart from these, the film also stars Akshaye Khanna and Rajat Kapoor.

The first part of the film was directed by Nishikant Kamat. At the same time, Abhishek Pathak is directing Part 2.

A long schedule of Drishyam 2 has been shot in Mumbai and Goa. While the shooting of the last schedule is going on in Hyderabad, which ends today.

The makers have announced the release of the film on November 18 this year.
