The ED has arrested AAP MLA Jaswant Gajjanmajra in connection with an ongoing inquiry into a Rs 40 crore loan.

Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra was taken into custody by ED (ED Arrested Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra) in the afternoon from his office in Tara Enclave on Malerkotla-Ludhiana Road.
At that time, Gajjanamajra was holding a meeting with the party’s block head and workers in his office.
Investigation underway in loan case of Rs 40 crore.
It is being told that the investigation is going on in the case of a loan of about Rs 40 crore taken from the bank during the year 2014, in which he was interrogated earlier also by CBI and ED.
He was also called for questioning by the ED some time ago, after which he was suddenly taken into custody by the ED on Monday. The ED team has taken him to Jalandhar after taking him into custody.

Kerala Blasts: Dominic Martin is in police custody for ten days, accused will be interrogated regarding international connections and funding.
Dominic Martin, the key suspect in the IED attack in Kerala, has been detained by police for ten days. The court ruled on Monday to commit Martin, the sole accused in the bomb blast case, to police custody.
Dominic Martin’s police request for 10-day imprisonment was accepted by Principal Sessions Court Judge Honey M Varghese.
A bomb detonation killed four individuals.
Dominic Martin, the man who claimed responsibility for the three bomb attacks at a conference center in Kalamassery, Ernakulam district, had turned himself in to the police.
All three bomb blasts occurred at 9 a.m. on Sunday. According to reports, at least 2000 members of the Christian sect were present in the conference hall at the time of the bombing.
This explosive explosion killed four persons. Over fifty persons were injured at the same moment.
Police will interrogate Martin regarding international connections.
Police said they needed to interrogate Martin to gather information about his sources of income, international connections, and other matters related to the bomb blasts.
He also said that the accused should be taken to certain places for further collection of evidence.
