Yashaswini Deswal Performed Brilliantly In ESC

Yashaswini Deswal of Chandigarh showed in European Shooting Championship, scoring 572 out of 600.

Indian shooters have performed brilliantly at the European Shooting Championships to prepare for the Tokyo Olympics.

The team that arrived in Osijek on Saturday targeted for the first time on Monday after preparing for Sunday. Here five Indian shooters claimed to make it to the finals but could not make it to the finals due to playing in MQS.

Indian shooters are playing in it just for preparation. City star Yashaswini Deswal also identified her target. In the 10-meter air pistol, Yashaswini Deswal started well and Manu Bhaker was also playing with her here.

Yashaswini scored a score of 572 out of 600 while Haryanvi shooter Manu Bhakar scored a score of 573. The Indian team of 13 shooters has come here to test themselves.

Earlier, world number-1 rifle women shooter Elavanil Valavarin and world number-1 Saurabhi Chaudhary in the main 10-meter pistol targeted the steak.

Elavanil put a score of 630.4 here and she was able to make it to the finals with second place. She was behind Jeeva winning the World No-2 and Gold in the New Delhi World Cup.

Apoorvi scored 627.8 while Anjum Moudgil was able to score 624.7. Saurabh Chaudhary scored a score of 589 out of 600, which is two points better than his Delhi event.

They could have made it to the finals by a big margin of three points. Abhishek Verma scored a score of 579 and he also managed to make it to the finals.

These three veterans of domestic cricket applied to become the coach of the Mumbai cricket team

Domestic cricket giants Wasim Jaffer, Amol Mazumdar, and former leg-spinner Sairaj Bahule have applied for the post of Mumbai’s head coach, which fell vacant after Ramesh Powar became the coach of the women’s cricket team.

Former India fast bowler Balwinder Singh Sandhu, a member of the 1983 World Cup-winning India team, has also applied for the post.

A senior MCA official said on Monday, the last day to apply, that a total of nine candidates have applied.

Apart from these, others who have applied for the post of Mumbai’s head coach include former keeper-batsman Sulakshan Kulkarni, fast bowlers Pradeep Sundaram, Nandan Phadnis, Umesh Patwal, and Vinod Raghavan.

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) last week sought applications for the post of senior men’s team with the eligibility criteria for 50 first-class matches.
