Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to America also dominated the neighboring country of Pakistan.

Major Pakistani media outlets focused on a joint demand by India and the US urging Pakistan to ensure that no territory under its control is used for cross-border terrorist attacks.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden have also called upon Pakistan to punish the perpetrators of the 26 November 2008 Mumbai attack and the Pathankot attack.

A news release from Washington in the ‘Dawn’ newspaper said that the joint statement called for action against Pakistani terrorist organizations like the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.

“The US and India stand together in combating global terrorism and unequivocally condemn terrorism in all its forms,” the joint statement said on Thursday.

According to the news of ‘Geo News’, “US President Biden and Prime Minister Modi demanded Pakistan to take steps to ensure that Pakistani soil is not used for “carrying out terrorist attacks”.
