UNGA President Saba Korosi said: “The UN Security Council needs a better representation like India in the Security Council.

The President of the United Nations General Assembly, Saba Korosi, made a great statement regarding India on Security Council reforms.

The head of the UNGA said that the UNSC needs better representations like India in the Security Council.

UN General Assembly President Saba Korosi said India is not alone.

The Security Council we have today is inherited from decades ago, with different superpowers charting different paths, and different balances of power.

At that time, India was not one of the largest countries. The future will certainly be very different from the past.

UNGA President Saba Korosi: “India can contribute to global prosperity”.

Saba Korosi said member states have a perception that we need a better representation, including countries with greater responsibility for peace.

There is a tremendous duty in doing appropriate to the human beings and India simply believes that they are able to make contributions to the welfare of the world.

He said the issue of reform has been negotiated for 13 years, so it’s time for everything to be in the hands of the member states.

But India is one of the most active supporters of early reform of the Security Council.

“I am deeply moved after meeting Prime Minister Modi”.

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi participating in Yoga Day at United Nations headquarters, United Nations General Assembly President Saba Korosi said I met Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi a few months ago and I have found a tradition of looking vision and strategy of a country.

I was deeply impressed after meeting the man who brought India to me and who knew well what modern India would look like.

He said I was happy to welcome him. He is welcome at the United Nations and he is one of the most respected world leaders to be here in a very short time.
