Two Helpers Of Terrorists Were Arrested In Shopian

Two helpers of terrorists were arrested in Shopian, arms recovered.

In South Kashmir’s Khujipora, Shopian, security forces on Friday caught two helpers of terrorists with weapons. Both of them were preparing to be active in the terrorist organization.

According to the information received, the police had come to know from their system that there are two helpers of terrorists in Khujipora Shopian.

He also has a stockpile of weapons and he is going to be active in a terrorist organization by carrying out some major incidents.

Based on this, the police along with the army personnel started searches in Khujipora and its adjoining areas.

Two helpers of terrorists were arrested: When the jawans entered a locality while searching, two youths ran away after seeing them.

The soldiers chased them and caught them, both were searched, Assault rifle and its three magazines and around a hundred cartridges were found from them.

Concerned police officials concealed the identity of both of them and said that efforts are being made to arrest their other accomplices.

So it would not be right to issue the identity now. At present, both are being interrogated at the Genpora police station.

Government-issued order.

The Deputy Commissioner will now be able to acquire 400 kanals (50 acres) of land to meet the development needs in various districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

In order to overcome the difficulties in getting land for development needs in the districts, the Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday authorized the Deputy Commissioner to acquire land for public works.

The Jammu and Kashmir government has taken this decision using the powers conferred under Section 3 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Act made in the year 2013.

This order of the Jammu and Kashmir government was issued on Friday on behalf of Commissioner Secretary Vijay Kumar Bidhuri.
