TRS leader K Kavitha appeals to strengthen rape laws in India.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader K Kavitha on Saturday raised her voice against criminal cases against women.

She demanded strict action against those who committed misdeeds like rape.

Let us inform that leader Kalvakuntla has appealed to Law Minister Kiren Rijiju and Chief Justice of India NV Ramana to strengthen rape laws in India.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader Kalvakuntala Kavitha tweeted on her official Twitter handle demanding strict action against crimes against women.

She wrote, “30 years have passed” citing pending justice in the 1992 Ajmer rape case And the victims are yet to get justice.

I humbly appeal to CJI Ramana and Kiren Rijiju to consider enacting laws and policies that give hope of speedy justice to our women.

Let us tell you that Nizamabad MLC Kalvakuntla tweeted in response to a tweet, which talked about an incident that happened in POCSO Court Room in Rajasthan.

In this incident, the victim of the gang rape shouted at the judge, lawyer and the accused that why is she being called to court again and again for 30 years.

What is the 1992 Ajmer rape case-

It has been three decades since the Ajmer rape case, but the trial is still going on. The police had charged a total of 18 people related to the case from the families of influential Khadims.

An FIR in the incident was registered in 1992 after the media reported.

In April 1992, several young women were gang-raped and blackmailed into keeping quiet with video recordings and some objectionable photographs.

This process continued for a long time, with the accused using the victim to woo his friends.

As soon as the matter became public, rumors spread all around Ajmer that most of the many victim girls who went to school and colleges had committed suicide.
