Cricket is known as a “gentleman’s game” because of its skill, rules, passion, and perseverance. Cricket has been continuously evolving since its inception.

As cricket developed, formats such as the 5-day Test match, ODI, and now T20 have been reduced. The player’s aggression and passion for cricket make the game exciting for both players and spectators.

However, some types of cricket are games where there is no physical contact between players, but still, a lot of accidents happen in these games. Players often suffer serious injuries on the pitch.

Philip Hughes: Philip Hughes was a young left-handed batsman from Australia. He was also a starter for the Australian team.

Philip also played home cricket for South Australia and Worcestershire. During his lifetime he played two seasons for New South Wales.

He made his 2009 Test debut at the age of 20 and his 2013 ODI debut. Philip has a bright future in Australian cricket, but things don’t always turn out the way we think.

A security guard hit him in the neck during a match at the Sydney Cricket Ground on 25 November 2014 and he was hospitalized.

But sadly died on 27 November 2014 at the age of 26 after spending two days in a coma.

Abdul Aziz: The history of cricket in Pakistan is great and Pakistan is known as the land of bowlers.

But Pakistani batsmen have been just as talented. Rookie right-hander Abdul Aziz played for Pakistan in the early days of cricket.

Abdul died at the age of 17 after being hit in the heart by a cricket ball.

Darrin Randall: Darrin Randall is a right-handed cricketer from South Africa. He also takes care of the counter from time to time.

Darin’s death was one of the most painful for any player. During a match at Ellis in the Eastern Cape, Darrin was hit in the head by a fastball and died instantly on October 27, 2013, at the age of 33.

Ian was immediately taken to the local hospital for minor iris surgery and to prevent future problems, but unfortunately, the operation failed and Yang died of a heart attack.

Zulfiqar died after being hit by a ball in the chest. Nowhere is it said whether he died at the scene or in the hospital. he died at the age of 22.

George Summers: George Summers suffered a head injury while playing for Nottinghamshire against MCC at Lord’s.

He did not treat the injury, and his injury did not start until four days later. He died at the age of 25.
