Tragic accident in Mumbai, the three-story building collapsed in Malad area, rescue work underway.
The news of a tragic accident has come out of Mumbai. According to the leading news agency, a three-story building has collapsed in the Malad area of the city.
Around three people are feared trapped under the debris of the building in the accident. Four fire tenders have reached the spot for relief and rescue work.
As of now, there is no report of any casualty, as well as no information, has been given about the cause of the accident.
Recently, many people died due to a fire in the 20-story Kamala Building in Mumbai’s Taddev area. Taking cognizance of the accident, PM Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the deceased.
Also wishing the injured a speedy recovery, he had announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from PMNRF for the next of kin of the deceased.
Along with this, it was said to give Rs 50,000 for the injured. Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar had also ordered an inquiry in this matter.
He had said that the incident of fire in the Kamala Building in Mumbai’s Taddev area will be investigated.
Our Mumbai suburban guardian minister Aaditya Thackeray and Mumbai city minister Aslam Shaikh will look into the matter.
Significantly, there are many old buildings in Mumbai which have completed their age. But still, people are living in them.
In the month of July last monsoon, a four-story building collapsed in the Andheri area of the city at midnight. Six people, including a firefighter, were injured in the incident.
