On Saturday morning, a confrontation occurred in the Bijapur district between security forces and Naxalites. According to a senior police official, the encounter happened at approximately nine in the morning in the jungle of Indravati National Park.

He said that a team of security personnel had gone out on an anti-Naxal operation at this place. Three Maoists were killed in this incident, according to the news that has surfaced thus far.
A joint team of DRG Bijapur, DRG Dantewada, STF, Cobra 210, and 202 has taken this action as part of the anti-Maoist operation. Security forces have cordoned off the entire area, and a massive search operation has been launched.
