Three arrested in Bajrang Dal worker’s murder case in Karnataka, massive uproar during the funeral procession, Section 144 implemented, school-college closed.
Harsha, a Bajrang Dal worker, has been stabbed to death with a sharp-edged weapon in communally sensitive Karnataka’s Shimoga.

Three arrested.
State Home Minister Araga Gyanendra said that so far three people have been arrested in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Harsh.

Five people were involved in the murder.
However, according to the news agency, the police caught a person named Kasif from Shimoga. After the information was received from him, two other accused were arrested from Bangalore.
Kasif told the police that five people were involved in killing Harsh. Police are now looking for the remaining two accused.

As soon as the news of Harsh’s murder spread, people thronged the hospital late on Sunday night itself. When his funeral procession was taken out on Monday, people became uncontrollable.
People pelted stones and set several vehicles on fire. Home Minister Gyanendra said that more than 1,200 people have been arrested for violence and arson.
Along with Rapid Action Force, forces from adjoining districts have also been deployed in Shimoga to control the situation.
Section 144 has been imposed in the city and Additional Director General of Police Murugan himself is monitoring the situation.
Harsh was getting threats.
According to the news agency, Harsh, a tailor by profession, was the block coordinator of Bajrang Dal in Shimoga.
A few days ago, he had written a post on an internet media platform about a particular religion, after which a complaint was lodged against him at the Dodapet police station in the city.
He was also receiving death threats over the phone.
Attack with a sharp weapon
On Sunday, around 9 o’clock in the night, the miscreants who came from the car on Ravivarma Marg in Bharti Colony ran him and escaped after beating him badly with a sharp weapon.
Harsh was immediately admitted to Megan Hospital, where he died.
As soon as the information about this incident was received, people gathered at the hospital late in the night itself.
When his funeral procession was taken out on Monday, people became uncontrollable. People pelted stones, the police had to struggle a lot to bring the situation under control.
