Threat to blow up many railway stations of UP-Uttarakhand, Jaish-e-Muhammad’s name in the letter, security agencies on alert.

An alert has been issued after receiving a letter threatening to blow up several railway stations and religious places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand on May 21.

Railway has conducted a checking campaign in collaboration with its GRP, RPF, and local police. Along with this, security agencies are also on alert.

Let us inform you that several stations including Moradabad, Bareilly, and Haridwar railway stations were threatened with bombs on Sunday.

Threat to blow up many railway stations: A letter has been sent in this regard to the station superintendent of Roorkee.

Describing himself as the Jaish-e-Muhammad’s Area Commander Salim Ansari, the sender of the threatening letter has spoken of a bomb blast at these stations on May 21.

Apart from this, in the letter, many religious places of Haridwar and the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand have also been threatened with bombs.

The station superintendent has apprised the RPF and GRP as well as Moradabad DRM Ajay Nandan about the entire episode.

An inland letter arrived on Sunday in the name of Roorkee station superintendent LK Verma.

Describing himself as Jaish-e-Muhammad’s Area Commander Salim Ansari, the sender said that on May 21, he will blow up the stations of Haridwar, Laksar, Roorkee, and Dehradun, Rishikesh, Kathgodam, Moradabad and Bareilly.

On May 23, Haridwar’s religious place Mansha Devi will also target Harki Paidi, as well as blow up the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand with a bomb.

Station Superintendent Roorkee has sent a copy of the threat letter to the DRM on WhatsApp. At the same time, GRP and RPF were also apprised of this letter.

Taking the letter seriously, Railways has started this investigation. At the same time, the GRP is engaged in checking the writing of the letter and the stamp of the post office on the letter.

Moradabad Division Northern Railway’s Senior DCM Sudhir Singh said that a letter has been found in the station master’s office.

It was written that some stations of Bareilly Division and Moradabad Division will be blown up with bombs on 21st May.

After which we are alert, and security arrangements are being completed. In the letter, there has been talking of bombing religious places along with many railway stations including Haridwar.

Railway Protection Force officials are talking to the state authority, if the letter is fake or there is some truth in it, then it is being investigated.

Threats to blow up railway stations have been received many times in the past as well.

In February, before the assembly elections, there was a threat to blow up the Gorakhnath temple and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with a bomb.

The police were alerted as soon as the tweet surfaced from a Twitter handle named Lady Don.

In this tweet, there was also a threat of a bomb blast in the Lucknow assembly and Meerut. Let us inform you that on the night of February 4, three tweets were made one after the other.

Earlier it was written in the tweet that a bomb has been planted in the UP assembly Lucknow, railway station, and bus stand. It was also written that Yogi Adityanath would also be killed.
