The Situation In Kazakhstan Has Not Been Controlled

The situation in Kazakhstan has not been controlled, orders to shoot at sight, know why the protests are happening.

Despite Russian military intervention, the situation did not improve in Kazakhstan.

On Friday, President Kasim-Jomart Tokayev ordered security forces to kill those involved in the violence without warning.

The President has said that those instigating violence are foreign-trained terrorists, so no mercy will be shown to them.

More than 100 people, including 18 security personnel, have been killed in a week of violence against the hike in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices.

The police have arrested about four thousand people involved in the violence.

Violence, arson, and firing continued throughout the night between Thursday and Friday in the country’s main city of Almaty, despite the landing of Russian commandos.

2,500 troops have been sent to Kazakhstan by the Allied Organization led by Russia.

Russia’s Defense Ministry has said that more than 70 aircraft are continuously active to help the Kazakhstan government.

No stone will be left unturned to maintain peace by ending the situation of violence.

Expressing a strong stand, President Tokayev has said that terrorists should surrender by laying down their arms, otherwise the security forces will stop only after eliminating them completely.

Tokayev has made it clear that Russian troops are not taking direct action in violence-hit areas, they are only supporting Kazakh forces.

US eyes on the deployment of the Russian army in Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan is not only a friendly country of India, but a large number of Indians are also living there. The Indian Embassy in Noor Sultan is monitoring the situation.

There are also questions about the reason for the ongoing violence as the agitation against the hike in LPG price turned into a protest against the government a few hours later and the protesters resorted to violence.

Violence continues in Almaty, the capital of Nur Sultan, and other major cities. Most of the people in this former Soviet country with a population of about 20 million live in these cities.

Meanwhile, US President’s White House Office spokeswoman Jane Pasky has said that the US is eyeing the deployment of Russian forces in Kazakhstan.

He is looking into the human rights situation there. Be aware that Kazakhstan is a major producer of oil and uranium. Its oil production has come down due to the violence that has been going on for a week.
