Devotees playing amidst the snow are seen taking selfies and photo shoots. 3 to 4 inches of snowfall has been recorded on the building and 4 to 5 inches on Bhairon valley.

The weather has remained bad, it is raining continuously.

The process of snowfall on Bhairon Ghati and Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan had started on Friday evening itself.

Keeping in mind the safety of the devotees after rain and snowfall, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board had suspended the yatra at 7 pm on Friday.

The yatra was started once again at 6 o’clock in the morning.

In the night, the process of snowfall on the building intensified, and in the morning when the devotees reached beyond Sanjhi 6, they saw the yatra route covered with snow.

However, the employees of the Shrine Board are continuously removing the snow lying on the road.

Mata Vaishno Devi’s Bhawan and the mountains above it are completely covered with snow.

The devotees who are coming on the journey chanting the hail of Maa Vaishno Devi are surprised to see the splendid view of the grand building of the mother. Many devotees are also seen playing in the snow.

Helicopter service has been suspended for the time being due to mist in the sky after the snowfall. However, the battery car service was also closed for the fourth consecutive day today.

The possibility of landslides during rains is high on the Battery Kar route, so this decision has been taken to ensure the safety of the pilgrims.
