The List Of Remaining WB BJP Candidates May Be Released

The list of remaining BJP candidates may be released today, a meeting of several big leaders including PM Modi: West Bengal Election.

An important meeting of BJP’s Central Election Committee (CEC) was held on Saturday evening to decide the names of candidates for the assembly elections going on in five states including Bengal.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and BJP President JP Nadda were present in it. Members of the core group of Bengal BJP were also present in the meeting.

According to sources, the names of the candidates in the meeting were discussed and sealed by the CEC. However, the list of candidates can be released on Sunday.

Actually, the BJP was to release the list of the remaining 234 candidates for the Bengal elections on Saturday, but this did not happen.

It is reported that in the meeting there was also a discussion on giving tickets to several film stars who have recently joined BJP in Bengal.

The name of veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty is also being mentioned in it. However, BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has already said that Mithun will campaign, but will not contest.

Earlier, the Central Election Committee meeting was held on March 4.

Earlier on March 3, the BJP’s core group of Bengal met. At the same time, there was a meeting of the Central Election Committee of the BJP on March 4.

In this first meeting, there was a brainstorm in the names of candidates for the first phase of Bengal and Assam.

Let us tell you that on March 6, the Bharatiya Janata Party had released the first list of its candidates for the assembly elections to be held in West Bengal. There were 57 candidates in this first list.

Significantly, from the end of this month on March 27, assembly elections are going to start in five states of the country – West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry.

Its results will come on 2 May. All political parties are churning in the names of their respective candidates.
