The house of BJP MP Arjun Singh from Barrackpore in North 24 Parganas district adjoining Kolkata was once again attacked with bombs on Tuesday morning.

The attack happened only a day after the order to hand over the investigation of the recent bombing incident to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

There has been a bombing. Due to this, there is an atmosphere of panic in the area.

Questions are being raised on the activism of the police and administration after the incident of a bombing near the MP’s house for the second time within a week.

Let us tell you that on September 8, three bombs were hurled at the house of a BJP MP. In this incident, the door of his house was damaged and many people were also injured.

The Union Home Ministry has ordered the NIA to investigate it on Monday itself.

Meanwhile, according to the information received from the police, the miscreants fled by throwing a bomb behind Arjun Singh’s house at around 9 am on Tuesday.

However, there is no news of any damage to it. The police team reached the spot after the bombing incident and is investigating the surroundings of the house.

The bombing took place on the morning of September 8, NIA is investigating.

Let us tell you that three bombs were hurled at the door of Arjun Singh’s residence in Bhatpara in North 24 Parganas at around 3 am on September 8, while CISF personnel are deployed for his security.

The Barrackpore MP was not at home at the time of the incident and was in Delhi.

He had claimed that he was attacked for intimidation after he was given the responsibility of observer of the party for the Bhawanipur bypoll.

BJP state president Dilip Ghosh also claimed that Trinamool was involved in the bomb blast. Two people were arrested in the incident.

Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar had also questioned the law and order situation in the state over the bomb blast at the BJP MP’s house.

After this incident, the security of Arjun Singh’s house was also increased. But once again questions have been raised on the incident of bomb hurling near his house.

The incidents of bombing in his Bhatpara area have been decreasing continuously since he left the Trinamool Congress and joined the BJP just before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
