The Bar Council has condemned the violence and disturbance at Red Fort Delhi on Republic Day. Outraged by the nuisance on 26 January, Bar Council said – culprits to be punished.
Farmers Protest at Red Fort Delhi on Republic Day: The Bar Council has condemned the violence and disturbance that took place during the tractor rally organized by the farmers on the occasion of Republic Day.
The council said on Thursday, ‘What the miscreants did by entering the Red Fort complex symbol of pride, respect and sovereignty is unforgivable. All those responsible for this will be identified and punished.
On Wednesday, the Bar Council issued a press release in this regard. In this, the violent incident in the capital on 26 January was strongly criticized and the emphasis is on punishing the miscreants. It has also been said that the farmer leaders failed to keep the promises made to the Delhi Police.
The miscreants attacked the police and paramilitary personnel deployed in security with rods, swords, and sticks. Troubles broke into the Red Fort complex with tractors. There is no part left here that has not been damaged.
The checking and ticket counter entrance, chair with metal detector gate, table, fan, computer, and office have been destroyed. The miscreant’s used raids and sticks on computers, chairs, tables, air conditioners, cupboards kept in the CPWD office.
Broke its windows and doors. CPWD officials say that miscreants also looted a lot of belongings kept in the office. At the same time, the preserved dome located above the ramparts of the Red Fort has also been broken.
Explain that the security of the Red Fort has been increased after this disturbance. Under its protection, more than five thousand soldiers have been deployed inside.
Along with Delhi Police, there is paramilitary personnel of ITBP, BSF, CAPF, and RAF. High officials are also constantly taking stock of the situation. Similarly, no one is being warned to come to this side with a loudspeaker.
