Pakistan Court Sentenced Muslim Man To Death For Blasphemy

Pakistan court sentenced a man to death on charges of blasphemy, also fined five lakh rupees. A local court in Pakistan’s Punjab province sentenced a Muslim man to death on charges of blasphemy and fined him five lakh.

Amin, a resident of Laiya district, about 400 km from Lahore, was arrested a few years ago after his neighbor complained about blasphemy.

At the same time, experts say that Pakistan’s problems are trapped in the clutches of fundamentalism. He is also unlikely to come out of the FATF gray list. Since the Government of Pakistan has secretly lifted the ban on more than five thousand terrorists.

Even effective action has not been taken against the UN declared terrorist leaders like Hafiz Saeed and Maulana Masood Azhar. FATF may take a tough decision in the meeting going on from 21 to 23 October.
