Terrorist-political alliances are not new in Jammu and Kashmir, know whose leaders have arrived!

Whether it was a suicide attack on the Akshardham temple or a case involving terrorists Naveed Mushtaq Babu and Mehbooba, it tells the story of terrorist-political alliances in Jammu and Kashmir.

This story is not limited to the Peoples’ Democratic Party alone. Leaders and activists of the National Conference and Congress have also been caught in this alliance.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad also said in August 2006 on the nexus between politicians and terrorists that we will destroy it.

The People’s Democratic Party, formed in 1999, has been facing allegations of alliances with militants since day one. The support of Hizbul Mujahideen and Jamaat-e-Islami has been said to be important in the PDP’s victory in 2002.

Mehbooba’s so-called relations with Hizbul militants like Kachroo, Shabbir Baduri, and Aamir Khan, active in South Kashmir at that time, were also talked about.

All these terrorist commanders have been killed. Many claimed that the terrorist commanders with whose alleged help the PDP won the election in Anantnag were all later killed in an encounter with the police one by one.

The killing of some PDP leaders in South Kashmir during the year 2003-05 has been described as a revenge action by the Hizbul.
