Congress MLA PT Thomas has demanded a probe from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the case. He said in a press conference that the NIA should investigate it directly.
Chief of Police and DGP (Jail) Rishi Raj Singh should be replaced at the time of the investigation. Kerala Director General of Police Loknath Behera is using the police to obstruct the NIA’s investigation.
He questioned how Swapna, who is in judicial custody, can be threatened without the knowledge of the Chief Minister.

The silence of the DGP (jail) is a crime. It is suspected that Swapna was threatened by the police on behalf of the Chief Minister. Thomas also asked the Chief Minister to explain his stand in the matter.
