India’s eye on Chinese interference in Nepal openly, know what is PM Modi’s stand

Despite China’s open interference in the ongoing political instability in Nepal, India continues to maintain a policy of silence in the internal affairs of its neighboring country.

India is appalled at China’s open involvement in Nepal’s political activities but does not want to react to the message that it has an interest in the political upsurge.

India believes that it is not in the interest of relations with neighboring countries to make any commentary on political matters in neighboring countries.

Two years ago, India had adopted a similar strategy in the Maldives and it had a positive advantage. However, Indian strategists are keeping an eye on each of Kathmandu’s activities.
