Six Overground Workers Of LeT Arrested In Bandipora

Six overground workers of LeT were arrested in Bandipora, ammunition was recovered. Today a huge success has been achieved in the hands of police and security forces.

Six overground workers of Lashkar have been arrested in Bandipore. Two hand grenades, two detonators, 15 cartridges of assault rifles, and two matrix sheets were also recovered from them.

They have been identified as Muzaffar Mehuddin Lone, Mohammad Amin Lone, Rizwan Qadir Lone, Imtiyaz Ahmed Lone, Javed Ahmed Lone, and Mohammad Salim Khan. Other details are awaited.

Earlier today, security forces have busted a hideout of terrorists while conducting a search operation in the forests of Nagmarg in the Bandipora district of North Kashmir.

19 UBGL rounds, two Chinese-made grenades, and other incriminating items have been recovered from this hideout of the terrorists.

Infiltration in LoC Poonch: a citizen of POK, was arrested from LoC in Poonch while infiltrating.

Army has arrested a Pakistani youth who entered Indian territory by infiltrating from Pakistan side from near LoC in Poonch district.

The arrested youth is said to be a Pakistani slave of Kashmir. He is being interrogated by the army.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani national captured by the army has been identified as 16-year-old Khayyam Maqsood, a resident of Harkadia Bala village of Abbaspur in POK.

Significantly, on August 18, three Pakistani teenagers were caught by the army while crossing the Line of Control from the Gulpur sector of Poonch district.

Frightened, these Pakistani teenagers told that they were fishing and during this time they crossed the Line of Control and reached India.

When he came to know that he had crossed the Line of Control and reached India, he was very scared. The army accommodated all of them in the local mosque and gave them a lot of affection.

On August 20, the army handed over the three teenagers from Chakka da Bagh to their families under the supervision of the Pakistani administration.

These three teenagers were also presented with gifts from the Indian Army.
