Narayan Rane Gets Bail In Uddhav Thackeray Remark Case

Narayan Rane gets bail in Uddhav Thackeray remark case; Said by tweeting ‘Satyamev Jayate’.

Union Minister Narayan Rane was granted bail late on August 24 after spending more than eight hours after he was arrested by the Mumbai Police for his ‘slapping’ remarks to CM Uddhav Thackeray.

A magisterial court in Mahad rejected the police’s request for their custody but asked Rane to appear at the Mahad police station in two days.

Now the question arises whether Rane’s troubles are over now? It is difficult to say because they will have to go to the police stations. They have been released on conditions in court.

After getting bail, Rane tweeted, ‘Satyamev Jayate’.

A team of lawyers left from the residence of Union Minister Narayan Rane for some formalities.

The Union Minister will file an application in the Bombay High Court today to quash the FIR registered against him.

Maharashtra: Policemen are deployed outside the residence of Union Minister Narayan Rane in Mumbai.

These are the difficulties

The court has ordered the Union minister to appear before the Ratnagiri police station for questioning on August 31 and September 13.

The court has also warned Rane not to commit such crimes in the future.

Speaking to a leading media agency, Narayan Rane’s lawyer Sangram Desai said, “While granting bail, the court has put certain conditions.

He will be present at the police station for questioning on August 31 and September 13 and not commit any such offense in the future.

Meanwhile, BJP leader Praveen Darekar said that the party will resume Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Maharashtra on Thursday.

Let us inform you that a total of 42 FIRs have been registered by the Mumbai Police in connection with Rane’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra.

What did Rane say?

During his Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Raigad district on August 23, Rane had said, “It is shameful that the Chief Minister does not know the year of independence.

He leaned back during his speech to ask about the counting of the years of independence. Had I been there, I would have hit (him) with a loud slap.’

What happened during the hearing.

In Mahad court, public prosecutor Bhushan Salvi demanded seven days of police custody of the BJP leader.

He said that it is necessary to investigate whether there is a conspiracy to tarnish the reputation of the Chief Minister.

At the same time, according to media reports, opposing the application, Rane’s lawyers argued that his health condition was serious and he had problems with sugar and blood pressure.

The court, after hearing both sides, denied the custody of the Union minister to the police.

Instead, it sent him to judicial custody and then, on a petition filed by his lawyers, granted bail to Rane on a surety of Rs 15,000.

What happened in the past.

After his arrest, Rane was taken to Mahad in Raigad district, 165 km from Mumbai, where an FIR was lodged against him over the remarks.

Cases were also registered against him in Nashik and Pune. Let us inform that after this remark on Ran’s Thackeray, the workers of ruling Shiv Sena started protesting in anger.

A case was registered in Mahad under IPC sections 189 (threatening to cause hurt to public servant), 504 (intentional insult to cause a breach of public peace), and 505 (statement conducive to public mischief).

Shiv Sena workers took to the streets after Rane’s remarks against Thackeray.

Activists put up posters in Mumbai calling him (Rane) a chicken thief, which was linked to his chicken shop started in the Chembur area five decades ago.
