Six lakh poor people will get a dream house in Karnataka, CM Bommai instructed to complete the construction by December.

In Karnataka, six lakh poor people are going to get their dream homes soon. CM Bommai has also given guidelines to the officials for this scheme.

CM Basavaraj Bommai has asked the officials to expedite the construction of houses.

During a meeting on Friday, the CM has directed to complete the construction of a total of six lakh houses under the AMRUT scheme by December.

Under this scheme, houses are to be provided to the poor of the state.

Review meeting held to review the implementation of budget programs.

Chief Minister Bommai today chaired a review meeting to review the implementation of budget programs for the year 2022-23 related to the housing department.

He directed the officials to complete the selection of beneficiaries within three months.

Bommai said, “Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) will be submitted on a priority basis for distribution of sites in different parts of the state.

The grant for this project will be released in phases and certain conditions will be laid before handing over the keys.

The benefits are given to the poor from the state budget

A total of Rs 28,000 crore has been set aside for the education, health, and welfare of the poor, scheduled caste, and scheduled tribe population in this budget of the state.

Orders have already been issued for 90 percent of the budget programs and projects. Bommai said that the new programs have been developed for the all-round development of all the segments of society.

Let us inform you that Vidya Nidhi Scholarship Scheme has been started for the children of farmers in the budget.

This time the monthly pension for widows and physically challenged people has been increased, while the subsidy for the construction of houses has been increased from Rs 1.75 lakh to Rs 2 lakh.
