SCO vs NAM T20 WC 2021: Big win for Namibia, beat Scotland by 4 wickets.

Scotland, who suffered a humiliating defeat in the first match of the ICC T20 World Cup, faced Namibia on Wednesday.

Namibia defeated Scotland by 4 wickets in the 21st match of the tournament.

Batting after losing the toss, Scotland could only manage 109 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, losing 6 wickets, Namibia achieved the target of victory in 19.1 overs.

Namibia won the match by 4 wickets.

Namibia had to work hard to achieve the small target of 110 runs from Scotland. The team won on the first ball of the last over.

Jay Smith scored an unbeaten 32 and took the team to victory by hitting a six in the last. Opener Craig Williams scored 23 while Michael Vaughan scored 18 runs.

Losing four wickets for 67 runs, the target gradually became difficult for the team, but Smit took one end and led the team to victory.

After losing the toss against Namibia, Scotland got three blows in the first over itself. Ruben Trumpelmann clean bowled George Manse on the first ball of the over.

On the very next ball, Richie Berrington was sent back by lbw. David Visa gave the Namibian team its fourth success. He got Craig Wallace out lbw for 4 runs.

Michael Leask scored the highest 44 runs for the team and returned after being bowled by Smit.

Chris Greaves finally scored 25 runs and somehow reached the score of 100. The team scored 109 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs.

For Namibia, Ruben took 3 while Freelink took two wickets. Apart from this, Smit and Visa dismissed one batsman each.
