RJD raises the issue of alleged irregularities in the corona trial in Bihar in Rajya Sabha.

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) raises the issue of alleged irregularities in the Corona trial in Bihar and demanded a high-level inquiry in the Rajya Sabha on Friday.

Raising the issue during a zero hour in the Rajya Sabha, RJD MP Manoj Kumar Jha said that reports in this regard have been published in a national newspaper, which revealed fraud and manipulation in testing data.

The number of coronavirus testing increased from 10 thousand to one lakh in seven days and to two lakh in a fortnight. The names of the people tested either does not exist, or the contact numbers and other details are false.

Manoj Kumar Jha further cited the news report that there is no match of name and mobile number. 10 times zero is also given as a contact number. Contract tracing cannot be done like this.

A high-level probe should be formed immediately. The RJD leader suggested that valid government identification proof such as Aadhar card or PAN card should be used while conducting such tests.

Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu also said that this is the subject of investigation. He said that this issue is important.

Apart from this, Rajmani Patel of Congress demanded to declare Buddhist stupas as an archaeological site of national importance at Deur Kothar in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh.

B. Lingaya Yadav of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) raised the issue of the industrial corridor in the southern state.

Mujibullah Khan of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) called for the formation of a flying squad to verify the construction of toilets under the Swachh Bharat Mission.

At the same time, Kanakmedla Ravindra Kumar of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) demanded the Krishna River Management Board remain in Vijayawada and not to be shifted to Visakhapatnam.
