The sound of firing came from the house of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) Chief Coordinator Fazal Mohammad.

The villagers felt that the terrorists had attacked his residence. But it was found that the bullet accidentally went off the rifle of the PSO posted under his protection. PSO got injured.

According to the information received from police sources, the incident took place around 8.30 am to 8.30 am.

Hearing the sudden sound of gunshots in the house of JKAP Chief Coordinator Fazal Mohammad, there was a stir among the people living nearby.

People thought that the terrorists had attacked the leader’s house. Meanwhile, some people also informed the police.

When the sound of gunfire did not come for a long time, people went towards Fazal’s house.

It was learned that the bullet was fired from his house but it was from the rifle of the PSO deployed in fire protection.

The bullet emanating from the rifle went into the leg of the PSO. The PSO was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital for the area.

He was identified as Altaf Hussain. Police have registered a case in this regard and started an investigation.

Terrorists who snatched rifles from constable escaped:

Terrorists facing a shortage of weapons once again snatched his rifle from a police constable in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday afternoon and fled from the spot.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the security forces surrounded the entire area but there was no trace of the terrorists.

The incident took place on Sunday afternoon at the Shamsipora crossing in the Khudwani area of ​​the Kulgam district.

Constable Mudassar Ahmed, a resident of Police Station Wanpoh, was standing with his AK-47 rifle at Devsar Shamsipora crossing.

Then the terrorists came there and they forcefully snatched the rifle from the constable and fled from there.

After this, when the police and other security forces got information about the incident, they reached the spot and surrounded the entire area.

Security forces have also launched a search operation in this area, but so far no terrorist has been caught. Even before this, terrorists have snatched weapons from police personnel several times in Kashmir.
