A letter written by BJP leader and Krishnanand Rai’s wife and currently MLA Alka Rai to Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul is going viral.
In this letter, accusations have been made in several cases from Punjab for not sending UP for the production of wanted Mukhtar Ansari from jail. It has also been alleged that the Punjab government is trying to save the infamous criminal.
The letter going viral is sent to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, National General Secretary. However, nothing has been clarified at present about the veracity of the letter. Jagran tried to talk to MLA Alka Rai regarding the letter but his phone could not be received.
At the same time, his son Piyush Rai told Jagran that yesterday his mother has sent a letter to Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi in this regard.

Respected Madam, Yours sincerely, My name is Alka Rai, I am a widow and for the last 14 years I have been fighting for justice against the brutal murder of my husband and popular legislator late Shri Krishnanand Rai.
Against the oppression that your party and the AAP government in the state of Punjab are giving open protection against. Mukhtar Ansari is being summoned from all the courts of Uttar Pradesh, but the Punjab government is not ready to send him to Uttar Pradesh.
Every time hundreds of people like me are being denied according to some excuse.
It is a shame that the AAP’s political party and the government under its leadership are standing up so mercilessly with a sinister criminal like Mukhtar Ansari. No one will accept that all this is happening without the knowledge of you and Rahul ji.
Mukhtar Ansari is a professional criminal who has brutally murdered all the innocent. He has destroyed the beauty of many mothers and sisters, and has taken the shadow of the father from the heads of all the children.
Every victim is looking forward to the moment when a hardened criminal like Mukhtar will get a severe punishment for his actions.
