A section of Congress is starting to mobilize against Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh regarding the Kotkapura and Bahibal Kalan firing.
On Monday, there was a meeting between cabinet ministers Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Charanjit Singh Channi, and Gurpreet Kangar, along with Rajya Sabha member Pratap Singh Bajwa and Ludhiana MP Ravneet Bittu at Randhawa’s house.
In the meeting, the issue of coercion and drug addiction was discussed. There has been a lot of uproar in the Captain’s camp due to this meeting of Ministers and MPs.
On receiving the information of the meeting, the captain sent his advisor Bharat Inder Singh Chahal twice to Randhawa, but the matter did not work.
MLA Rajkumar Verka also reached there. But the matter did not work out. It has been reported late in the evening that the Captain can see the mobilization and reshuffle the cabinet.
According to the Congress sources, in the meeting of ministers and MPs, three issues were discussed in the indecency scandal, intoxication, and Kotkapura firing.
On the issue of the intoxication, the ministers said that no special steps were taken to end the addiction in four and a half years.
There was a discussion on restoring the position of the Congress before the SIT probe in the Kotkapura firing case was dismissed before the High Court.
Sources say that Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said that the government did not take any step to open the investigation report of Harpreet Sidhu, who was the head of the STF, who was intoxicated.
Rajya Sabha member Bajwa spoke of completing the investigation in the Kotkapura firing case in a month.
It was also decided in the meeting that pressure should also be put on the Captain to send the SIT team to Faridkot permanently, as the new SIT has not yet started the investigation.
Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu also appeared aggressively in the meeting.
Bittu went on to say that if the Chief Minister cannot get justice in the firing case, he should give the Home Department to another MLA.
It was also decided in the meeting that all information will be given to the party’s high command in this matter. Because the SIT report has been rejected, the graph of Congress in the state has fallen drastically.

Navjot Singh Sidhu’s vacant cabinet seat will be filled. The Captain has also asked for Intelligence files regarding ministers and MLAs.
It is also being said that to save the chair from the notice of cabinet reshuffle, the cabinet minister can again turn to the captain.
