Giving this information, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the Kerala government has allowed cinema halls and indoor auditoriums to reopen with certain restrictions from October 25.

Admission will be given only to those people who have been fully immunized. Full immunization is also necessary for employees.

Apart from this, 50 percent of the total capacity will be allowed in theaters and auditoriums.

Let us inform you that during the last 24 hours, 13 thousand 217 new cases were reported in the state. During this, 14 thousand 437 people recovered from the infection and 121 people died.

Preparations to open cinema halls: There are one lakh 41 thousand 155 active cases in the state.

The total death toll has gone up to 25 thousand 303. During this 96 thousand 835 sample tests have been done.

India’s position in the war against the Corona epidemic is getting better. New cases of infection are gradually decreasing. The situation seems to be coming under control in the worst-affected Kerala.

Active cases have come down to three and a half lakhs. At the same time, the pace of vaccination has also remained fast. So far, more than 90 crore doses of the anti-coronavirus vaccine have been administered.

According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Saturday, 24,354 new cases have been found during the last 24 hours and 234 people have lost their lives.

During this period, there has been a decline of 1,335 inactive cases and the total active cases have remained at 2,73,889 which is 0.81 percent of the total cases.

This is the lowest number of active cases in 197 days. The recovery rate of patients is improving and the mortality rate has remained stable. The daily and weekly infection rates are also below two percent.

At the same time, according to the data available on the covin portal till 6 pm on Saturday, more than 66.60 lakh doses of the anti-corona vaccine have been applied.

Including these, a total of 90.26 crore doses have been administered so far. These include 65.78 crore first doses and 24.48 crore second doses.
