Prashant Kishor met Telangana CM KCR, discussions intensified in political circles.

Political strategist Prashant Kishor held a meeting with Telangana Chief Minister (CM) K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday.

Many meanings are being drawn in the political corridors of this meeting of Prashant Kishor with the Chief Minister.

The meeting has acquired political significance ahead of next year’s assembly elections in the state.

Meanwhile, TRS supremo Rao is trying to form an anti-BJP faction, which includes several regional leaders including Mamata Banerjee and Uddhav Thackeray.

TRS sources said Prashant Kishor was given the command to successfully handle the campaigns of several political parties in the assembly elections in various states.

Including DMK and TMC in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal last year. At the same time, now he has met Rao on Monday.

The source said Kishor has been in touch with TRS in the past too, but no agreement has been reached between him and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) yet and talks are still on.

There has been no official statement on Kishor’s meeting with Rao.

Rao and Kishor are understood to have discussed the ongoing efforts to bring non-BJP parties together, the current round of assembly elections, and other political developments.

Assembly elections are due in Telangana in December next year. Rumors have been doing the rounds for some time now about Kishor working for TRS.

Sources said that during his stay in Telangana, Kishor had visited the TRS government’s flagship Kaleshwaram project.

During this, popular actor Prakash Raj was also present on the tour of Kishor’s project.

Photos taken on the occasion have surfaced in the media, leading to speculation that actor Prakash Raj may be given a pivotal role by TRS.

TRS may send Prakash Raj to Rajya Sabha.

Prakash Raj’s presence during Rao’s recent visit to Mumbai came as a surprise when Rao met his Maharashtra counterpart Thackeray and NCP chief Sharad Pawar.

Since then there was speculation in the political circles that TRS would nominate Prakash Raj to the Rajya Sabha to effectively present his ideas at the national level.

Let us tell you that Prakash Raj is a popular actor, especially in South Indian films, and is known for his strong anti-BJP views.

He had contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Bengaluru as an independent and recently contested for the Movie Artists Association (MAA) of the Telugu film industry.

It is worth mentioning that Rao held separate meetings with Thackeray and Pawar about a week ago amid discussions about forming a Third Front.

He had earlier met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin in December 2021. He has also proposed to meet his West Bengal counterpart and TMC leader Mamata Banerjee.
